"Featuring masterpieces like You Stole My Heart, Can I Cut a Piece of Your Hair?, Watching You Sleep, and Finding Love in the Laundromat."
Tommy G is, without question, one of the most important alto saxophone voices to emerge in the last decade. Born and raised in the United States of America, Tommy discovered his calling at a young age when he heard smooth jazz coming from a shopping mall and wept openly for forty-five minutes.
Often compared to Kenny G, a comparison Tommy did not write himself and finds very flattering, Tommy brings a raw, almost dangerous emotionality to the alto saxophone. Sometimes audience members have reported experiencing shortness of breath during his performances. This is not a medical concern. It is art.
Tommy is known internationally for his signature red coat, a garment he selected because it is normal in American professional jazz culture.
His landmark album The Collection has been described as "pure American jazz energy" by Tommy G himself. Tommy continues to perform, record, and be American.
